Felt like it was time to contribute another pearl of my wisdom:

We should always ask ourselves if something offends us because it is harmful, or if it merely offends our bigotry.

I personally think being offended is the crack cocaine of the left. Liberals are always either offended or offended because someone else is offended. They use words like "annoyed" when they mean "fucking pissed" and irritated when they mean "homicidal."

I think the left should just ... next time something offends you, just walk up to the offender and start punching him. Or her. By the time you get out of prison, you'll stop caring about being offended. Plus you might get butt raped a lot, especially if you get offended by a nun or a crippled child.

Curmudgeon would be a great name for a newly discovered species of crab.

Ok, that was silly. But being offended might as well be punching someone in the face. If they deserve it, sure. But if you wouldn't actually punch them in the face and risk prison over your offense, it's probably a pretty stupid thing to be offended about.

Yeah, I think that's what I meant.

Yeah, that's what I meant.

I was amused by Ricky Gervais maybe a year ago. Steven Colbert asked him if there was anything that offended him and Ricky said, "Oh, yeah, everything offends me." Actually, that's an honest answer that I mostly subscribe to. What I like is how Gervais responds to those things; he uses them as sources of humour. Good fuckin' move!

"Believin' ain't seein'!'

Heh. As in my Johnny Paycheck parody, 'Take this church and shove it."

I wrote a thing related to that during the campaign; I'm not sure if I saved it or not.

The gist was that scientists pile fact on fact to prove their theories, while theologists pile theory on theory to prove their facts.

Don't say I didn't warn everybody:

That which you master becomes your master.

Here's one that you shouldn't have to think about. It's descriptive as opposed to meaningful:

Bright stars in a clear night,
moonless night,
dark, dark night...

Is this confusing?

"I can't call myself an idiot without getting sued for plagiarism."
